Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Outreach Project (DROP) is a community based organisation providing a range of specific drug related services to individuals affected by their own substance misuse or affected by the substance misuse of a family member or loved one.
Our mission is to empower positive change through a person centred approach for individuals, families and communities affected by addiction.
The objective of the project is to combat the harmful effects of substance misuse and related issues through:
Providing a holistic, supportive, educational and progressive rehabilitation programme to assist individuals caught up in the negative cycle of substance miusee to move away from their dependency on harmful substances.
Providing a career path for recovering substance misusers who have demonstrated a readiness to move into further training, education and employment.
Offering support to individuals, their families, friends and members of the local community who are adversely affected by substance misuse and related issues.
We are conviently located within the town of Dun Laoghaire at 45 Upper Georges Street and are served by several bus services and the DART making us easily assessible to individuals in the county of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown. For further information please call us on 01 2803187.
